Cyprus: IYT Try Sailing Course in Limassol
The IYT Try Sailing Course is a 3 to 4 hour course aimed to provide candidates with basic introductory knowledge for crewing a sailing vessel up to 15 meters in inland or coastal waters <5 miles offshore during daylight hours in moderate wind and sea conditions.
It’s a fun hands-on course to enjoy being on the water while learning basic sailing skills.
Recommended Entry Level Requirements
At least 10 years of age.
Scope of Course
3 to 4 hour course, on board, covering theory and practical subjects

• Points of Sails and Basic Sailing Terms

• Basic Ropework
“IYT Try Sailing Course Completion Certificate” to be completed and issued by the school after successful completion of the course. OR Schools may place orders for downloadable PDF certificate issued by IYT so it appears in the candidate’s IYT Account/Profile. In order to do this the candidate must create and IYT Account ID/Profile.
This activity will be confirmed if the weather is suitable. Otherwise, the reprogramming will always be carried out with the consent of the client.
Refunds are 90% as long as it is notified with a minimum notice of 3 days. Date changes will be free of charge, as long as they are notified up to 3 days prior to the activity.
The duration of the sessions is from 3 to 4 hours in total.
